Song of the Day, “Payphone” Maroon 5. “All those fairy tales are full of shit, one more fucking love song and I’ll be sick”
The season’s hottest shoe: the slipper. I bought these slippers from Aldo and they are sex:
Blue suede with brown suede trimming; they have a rubber sole and somehow manage to straddle both upper-class prep and suave hipster. Every time I wear them I feel like James Bond, ready to hit the yacht club, have a few martinis, and take the hottest thing home.
Lindsay’s Song
Why are you so afraid?
What are you looking for?
Behind those beautiful green eyes:
How many tears do you hide?
Acting so grown up-
Never getting to be a little girl
Listening to everyone’s slander
Just looking for honest candor
Hair as bright as fire
Dyed to fit in
Curves that once hypnotized
All but gone: to be a star
I want to save you;
From the world. From yourself.
With me you can be the girl
Not the shell.
Lindsay you try so hard
Pleasing everyone:
But I can see the pain hiding behind your eyes.
I want to know you
Not your “star”
I want to hold the girl
The girl- I see inside…
The styling in this video is…auh-mazing!
A photo shoot I styled for my dear friend Sean Bradford. Next, I will be styling and producing his short film, “Everything In Between”.
Great Song. Great Fashion. Great.
IV.
“And, I have”
I have heard the voice inside my head
And wondered if it were God who spoke to me?
I have been told that God resides in the heart
So it could be God who speaks to me.
And I’ve had a man in white mouth to me:
“and only those who’re schizophrenic hear a voice inside their heads”
And I have been fed a medicine that quiets my body
And the voice inside my head….simply goes silent.
